DJ Ev. (pronunciation: eHv) is an experienced and technically sound DJ based in North Carolina and throughout the USA. Ev. provides ultra premium DJ services and is comfortable DJing for a diverse and wide range of crowds. He specializes in Rhythmic Top 40, but is also known to spin Classic Rap, Indy Rap, Club Hip-Hop, Reggae, 80s, 90s, Electro House, and B-More. He is best known for his clean and smooth blends, precise cuts, and his ability to tell stories with his sets. He knows how to read a crowd, and get the most energy or mellowness, whichever is desired, out of each track. DJ Ev. is a charter member of The Jukebox Heroes as well as member of the Kaos Mathematics DJ Crew. He has performed in numerous bars and clubs, and on college and commercial radio.

DJ Ev. is known in the college radio, commercial radio, and podcast circuit for hosting and DJing “Slap Happy Radio”. “Slap Happy Radio” began in 2003 on WUAG 103.1FM. In its WUAG days, it was the weekly home to classic, indy & excellent hip-hop. The show progressed to a podcast series in 2007 that featured many styles of music. “Slap Happy Radio” can now heard on WMKS 105.7 NOW every Friday night from around 1am-2am. DJ Ev. knew from childhood that he wanted to be a radio and club DJ. He listened to and was influenced by the likes of Capital J & Horse Rainy, Ant Buttah, and various break beat DJs from the Tampa, FL area. Ev. would like to send shouts out to Jack Bonney, Capital J, Young Gee, Kyle Santillan, Nick D and JoJo from 105.7 NOW, Jonathan from Club Therapy, DJ SK, DJ Paradime, DJ Forge, DJ A-Minor, DJ Yona, DJ Ern, and the rest of his friends in radio & nightlife.
